In our 5 minutes with profiles, MEF members talk about their business, their aspirations for the future and the wider mobile industry.

This week, CEO Fatih Turan introduces A2P and Voice experts, Qoolize.

What does Qoolize do?

Qoolize is a provider of global internet access, voice services, and A2P SMS. We specialize in improving business workflows and enhancing connectivity solutions, and are the first company to integrate the access of voice, ITPS (internet services), eSIM, and SMS right through to the end process.

When did you launch and what growth have you seen?

Qoolize launched in 2021 and our reach has grown to span over 150 countries. We’re incredibly proud of our growth in revenue, going from nearly $7 million in our first year to over $20 million in year two, over $40 million in year three, and with a target of exceeding $50 million in our fourth year.

The recent release of Sphera, our innovative connectivity management solution, marks a significant step in our journey by integrating more than 350 last-mile providers and APIs, allowing our customers to access quotes and services in 75 countries and across five continents.

What are your main goals?

Our primary goal is always to deliver exceptional customer experiences that are powered by technology but, at their core, driven by people. Qoolize is always working to expand our reach, providing connectivity solutions to more and more customers globally.

Where do you see your company in three years’ time?

We’re working to establish Qoolize as the trusted connectivity and communications partner not only to all of our existing customers but also to operators, aggregators, managed service providers, and enterprises around the world. We plan on not just maintaining but exceeding the exponential growth rate that we have been experiencing since launch.

What aspect of mobile is most exciting to you right now?

At the forefront is the growth of eSIM, specifically regarding its uptick with end-consumers and its use cases within the IoT space. We are also always incredibly excited about global internet access, and are particularly interested in the current shift that we are seeing towards automation.

Due to Qoolize’s active role in the global internet connectivity space, we are excited to grow and develop in response to these changes, such as with our recent release of Sphera.

What’s the most critical issue that will hit mobile within the next 12 months?

The biggest concern from our perspective is the rise of fraudulent activities, specifically with regards to how they affect A2P SMS and voice. The rise of AI is exacerbating the issue of fraud, and it is crucial for companies to be aware of these activities and develop solutions in order to protect their customers.

Apart from your own, which mobile companies are the ones to watch in the year ahead?

Our focus is always on maintaining our position as a leading service provider and providing innovative and high-quality solutions to our customers.

That said, there are a number of other companies making waves within the mobile and connectivity industry, and Qoolize is always keeping an eye on the current players within our space.
