Each new Board member serves a two-year term on the MEF Board, whose role is to shape the strategy and governance of MEF activities globally.
Over the coming year the focus will be the future opportunities associated with messaging, alongside antifraud and privacy.
MEF’s Board plays a central role in setting the strategy for the organisation and ensuring good governance, and as a global organisation, covering the entire mobile ecosystem and I am always proud to see our Board reflect this diversity of both expertise and geography.”

Voting took place online and all full members of MEF were eligible to vote. There were 13 candidates, five women and eight men, for the seven positions.
Each candidate submitted a short video outlining what they can offer the Board, and MEF members voted for their preferred candidates.
“MEF’s Board plays a central role in setting the strategy for the organisation and ensuring good governance, and as a global organisation, covering the entire mobile ecosystem and I am always proud to see our Board reflect this diversity of both expertise and geography.” said MEF CEO Dario Betti.
“I am particularly pleased to see more women step forward to be considered for the MEF Board. Women are under-represented in the industry as whole, so it is great to see that this is changing, albeit slowly. Having more women on the Board can only be a good thing, as a diverse range of views, approaches, experience, and ways of thinking are important to ensure a robust, effective, and visionary future for MEF.”
