This week, Founder & CEO Alex Lykhochas, introduces A2P SMS connectivity providers, Adeo Telecom.

What does Adeo Telecom do?

Adeo Telecom is a dynamic force where innovation converges with the realm of mobile connectivity. We specialize as a reliable A2P SMS connectivity provider, dedicated to delivering messaging solutions of the highest quality with a strong emphasis on transparency and openness.

At Adeo Telecom, we lead the charge in transforming the way businesses and consumers connect through messaging. Our robust Signalling Infrastructure (SS7) sets the stage, empowering companies with rapid, reliable, and timely information delivery worldwide, providing them a competitive edge like never before.

When did you launch and what growth have you seen?

Established as a beacon of innovation, Adeo Telecom has evolved since its inception (in 2019), growing into one of the industry’s major players. Our journey, marked by a commitment to high-quality services, our own route infrastructure, and vigilant 24/7 monitoring, has propelled us to the forefront of international carriers globally.

What are your main goals?

Adeo Telecom aspires to be the preferred and most trusted partner for P2P and A2P messaging businesses. Our strong global track record, coupled with a continual expansion of our reach, aims to ensure high customer satisfaction with major market players. Safely delivering SMS messages with complete transparency, we offer open connectivity to global industry leaders. Our strategic focus involves securing more revenues from SMS, defining relevant termination prices, and safeguarding subscribers from unsolicited messages and spam.

Where do you see your company in three years’ time?

In the next three years, Adeo Telecom envisions solidifying its unique position as an MVNO engagement model for the monetization of international A2P SMS traffic and also make leap into the eSIM business to broaden our ever-expanding portfolio which we believe go hand in hand with our long-term goals of a sustained growth in the A2P messaging industry, with a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and addressing crucial security concerns within the mobile ecosystem.

What aspect of mobile is most exciting to you right now?

Our enthusiasm in mobile communication stems from the enduring reliability and efficiency of SMS. SMS has proven its resilience during challenging times, such as the recent global crisis, emerging as a simple and reliable way to relay information globally. Adeo Telecom is  committed to contributing to the universality and competitiveness of SMS/A2P while addressing evolving traffic patterns and staying ahead of potential security threats.

We see to combat the main problems of the domain of A2P which we see is a combination of players not contributing with unique routes of their own and instead relying on re-selling connections already in place, already in circulation which causes less transparency and more likely connections that are tampered with which declines both transparency as well as quality in traffic. This may be causes from Artificial Inflation of Traffic (AIT) and players being, let’s say, creative, for their own gain.

What’s the most critical issue that will hit mobile within the next 12 months?

Security is a paramount concern for Adeo Telecom in the next 12 months. The increasing prevalence of SMS scams underscores the need for a more secure network.

Apart from your own, which mobile companies are the ones to watch in the year ahead?

In the spirit of collaboration, we keep a close eye on innovative partners like the biggest MNO monetisation and filtering providers as well as the largest MNO players, excelling in message screening, combined machine learning technologies and techniques. Their strategic approach makes them a notable player in the SMS market and transformative communication landscape through virtualization and APIs is noteworthy for enterprises undergoing digital transformation. With that being said we’ll of course keep a close eye on RCS as well.

We believe that the big players in the market is holding most of the good cards and that it is crucial to work closely with them to try to stop the many threats of SMS as Artificial Inflation of Traffic (AIT) and smishing.
