The 17th Annual MEFFYS Awards marks a big return for the legendary awards – not only will the show be live and in person, but for the first time ever it will be held during MWC in Barcelona with the winners of 7 categories announced amid all the glitz, glamour, press red carpet we can muster. If you’re at MWC make sure you register for the MEFFYS party.
This year, there are seven categories to enter, each giving recognition to innovations in a different part of the mobile ecosystem. Nominations are open to all – meaning you can nominate your own company or product. Due to popular demand the deadline for nominations has just been extended to the 9th of February – so there is still plenty of time to submit your favourite mobile innovators.
The MEFFYS celebrate innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the Mobile Ecosystem, applauding the companies that have made a difference in 2021 across MEFs core ecosystems.

In 2021, Digital Virgo were nominated, and won the MEFFY, for their ground breaking mobile monetisation platform. You can watch CCO Diego Conforti picking up his award in last year’s online show below. We asked them to comment on what the win meant for their business:

Sam Media picked up the 2021 MEFFY for Richer Customer Engagement, with their virtual reality streaming content service Mobio360, offering access to hundreds of fully immersive digital experiences.

Dotgo won the 2021 MEFFY for the ‘Protecting the Mobile Consumer’ category, with RichOTP – technology that enables brands to send One Time Passwords (OTPs) through the rich media messaging channel of RCS in over 10 countries, received by CTO Surinder Anand.
