This time last year, Ira Cohen issued a rallying cry to his fellow message providers: “We need to market to the marketers!”
The VP of business development and marketing of MMDSmart was speaking at the Dmexco event, where his company was one of a small cohort promoting SMS and rich messaging services to the delegates.
His reasoning was that the industry can do more to sell the benefits of mobile messaging – direct, personal, immediate – as a tool for promotions and customer care. Well, later this month Cohen will have his chance.
