Healthcare the most trusted industry in Canada

The healthcare industry is the most trusted type of organisation in Canada with 75% of people surveyed by MEF saying they had trust in communications from Doctors & Hospitals – 8 percentage points above the global average trust score. Mobile network operators faired a little less well with 50% of Canadians saying they trusted the wireless carriers, against the global average of 51%, while Social-media companies ranked bottom (30%) – a whole 10 percentage points below the global average.
