SMS is the most trusted channel for personal comms in Canada
Canada leads the world when it comes to the use of texting (SMS) as a means to keep in touch with loved ones, and is second only to email as the preferred way to receive messages from companies. A total of 64% of mobile users in Canada said SMS was how they communicate via mobile with friends and family – the top response and higher than any other country surveyed by MEF – with 35% saying SMS was how they prefer to hear from companies.
