Bandwidth Expands ‘Bring Your Own AI’ Approach With Support for OpenAI’s Realtime API To Power Advanced AI Voice Agents Using GPT Language Models

Bandwidth (NASDAQ: BAND) has announced support for OpenAI’s new Realtime API, integrating SIP-based voice calling with GPT-powered conversational AI. This allows enterprises to bring their own AI voice agents to Bandwidth’s global edge infrastructure for natural, real-time conversations. The move expands Bandwidth’s open strategy, which already includes integrations with platforms like Google Dialogflow, Cognigy, cloud contact centers, and programmable voice APIs. Customers benefit from flexible AI pathways combined with Bandwidth’s owned cloud communications network, delivering low latency, high fidelity, and intelligent routing for mission-critical voice applications.

Enea Strengthens Cybersecurity Leadership through Extended Partnership with Global Open-Source Security Foundation (OISF)

Enea has renewed its Gold-level partnership with the Open Information Security Foundation (OISF), the organization behind Suricata, the leading open-source network threat detection engine. Infobip and Oracle have expanded Oracle Fusion Cloud Service by integrating WhatsApp and SMS, now available on Oracle Cloud Marketplace. This enhancement unifies customer interactions across messaging, live chat, and AI-driven automation, enabling faster responses and reduced agent workload. Routine inquiries are handled by chatbots, while human agents manage complex cases for smoother resolutions. The integration strengthens Oracle’s customer engagement capabilities, reflecting the long-standing Infobip-Oracle partnership in delivering global communication solutions.

Swisscom myAI: secure and straightforward artificial intelligence made in Switzerland

Swisscom has launched myAI, a new AI assistant developed in Switzerland and free to use until the end of 2025. Designed for the Swiss public, it offers text generation, data analysis, and creative tools like image generation, while meeting strict data protection and transparency standards. Unlike international platforms, myAI ensures user data is not used for profiling, third-party processing, or training LLMs. Data is processed on AWS but remains under Swisscom’s control, reflecting its commitment to privacy, ease of use, and Swiss values.

Telefónica Tech provides connectivity to more than 70% of V-16 beacons certified by the DGT

Telefónica Tech, Telefónica’s digital business unit, provides IoT connectivity to over 70% of V-16 hazard warning devices certified by Spain’s DGT. These orange flashing beacons, which will replace roadside triangles from January 1, 2026, signal immobilised vehicles and transmit location data anonymously to the DGT for improved traffic management. Telefónica Tech partners with more than 30 manufacturers, offering nationwide coverage and secure data transmission via its Kite platform, while optimising battery use. Movistar also sells V-16 beacons with geolocation through stores, online, and apps.
