IPification and Raiffeisen Banka Srbija Redefine Mobile Banking Security with 1-Click Phone Number Verification

IPification, a leader in mobile authentication, has partnered with Raiffeisen Bank Serbia, a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Bank International, to integrate its 1-Click Phone Number Verification into the bank’s mBanking app. The collaboration aims to enhance security, improve user experience, and reduce fraud.

The integration replaces traditional SMS OTPs with a seamless, one-click, network-based verification process. This significantly reduces risks tied to SIM swap fraud and phishing attacks. IPification uses a unique Mobile ID — based on SIM, device, and network data — to authenticate users instantly upon entering their phone number. This strategic move supports Raiffeisen Bank’s commitment to secure and user-friendly digital banking.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Raiffeisen Bank Serbia in reinforcing the security and convenience of their mobile banking services,” said Stefan Kostic, CEO of IPification. “By replacing cumbersome authentication methods with our seamless phone number verification, we are ensuring that users can securely access their accounts with minimal effort, while banks significantly reduce fraud risks.”

“As part of the 2020 Elevator Lab Challenge organized by Raiffeisen Bank International and its local network banks, IPification was honored with the award for the most innovative FinTech solution at the regional level. We firmly believed in the potential of this groundbreaking technology from the outset, and we are thrilled to see it now enhancing the security and ease of use for our mobile banking app users,” said Nebojsa Jovanović, Chief Product Officer at Raiffeisen Bank.
