CPaaS Revenue to Exceed $34bn Next Year, as AdTech Partnerships Drive Growth
A new study by Juniper Research projects that global revenue from Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) will grow by 13% in 2026, rising from $30 billion in 2025. This growth is driven by CPaaS providers evolving their platforms beyond basic messaging and authentication services like OTPs. They are now positioning themselves as comprehensive customer interaction solutions, offering advanced tools such as campaign management and support for rich media messaging to better engage users.
The newly released research suite provides the most detailed analysis of the Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) market to date. It includes extensive market analysis and five-year forecasts covering over 60 countries, with more than 260,000 market statistics. The suite also features a ‘Competitor Leaderboard’ to evaluate key players and offers a thorough examination of current trends and future opportunities in the CPaaS space.
Research author Molly Gatford commented: “We advise CPaaS platform vendors that they must be able to verify customers’ ability to receive messages via rich communication services (RCS) or over-the-top (OTT) apps before broad implementation. Failing to do so will harm the tool’s reputation by providing a solution that does not work for all users.”

Shush Inc.’s Sherlock Platform now supports TS.43-compliant Silent Authentication via EAP-AKA
Shush Inc. has announced that its Sherlock platform now supports Silent Authentication via EAP-AKA, in compliance with the GSMA’s TS.43 Release 11 standard. This development enables seamless and secure device authentication across Wi-Fi, cellular networks, apps, and browsers, offering Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and third-party applications a consistent and high-performing authentication experience.
While the TS.43 Release 11 standard provides a technical foundation for network authentication, MNOs have struggled to find viable monetization strategies. Shush addresses this by offering integration with Sherlock’s Authentication Server, which supports EAP-AKA for external apps. This allows MNOs to provide reliable and scalable authentication services, opening up new revenue opportunities while boosting user security and trust.
“Network Authentication via TS.43 Rel.11 Entitlement Server has the potential to be a game-changer for the mobile industry, offering unmatched security and flexibility,” said Henry Calvert, Head of Network at GSMA. “Shush’s Sherlock platform demonstrates how carriers can practically implement and monetize their authentication services using this standard, driving value for operators and confidence for customers.”
“Sherlock redefines device authentication by making it simple, seamless, silent, and universally accessible,” said Eddie DeCurtis, CEO and Co-Founder of Shush. “Our platform empowers carriers to unlock the full potential of TS.43, turning authentication into a strategic, fully monetized asset.”
