iProov Launches Facial Biometric MFA Support Targeting Workforce Identity Theft

iProov has launched iProov Workforce MFA, a biometric multi-factor authentication solution designed to protect organizations from account takeover threats. Certified by the FIDO Alliance, it adds a strong layer of identity verification and works independently of devices, supporting both personal and shared use. The solution reduces costs tied to password resets, improves cross-platform compatibility, and streamlines authentication. It also supports OpenID Connect (OIDC) for seamless, no-code integration with identity providers like Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Ping Identity.

“Identities can be compromised at every stage in the user lifecycle, from the interview process through to offboarding. These risks are exacerbated by the complexities of remote work and extended workforces, exposing the vulnerabilities of traditional MFA solutions,” said Andrew Bud, founder and CEO, iProov. “With no additional devices, distribution costs, integration coding or MFA fatigue, iProov Workforce MFA strengthens access management and empowers organizations with seamless, secure authentication on any device, delivering frictionless security for the whole organization.”

Transport & Logistics Cellular Data to Exceed 2 Exabytes by 2030

New research by Kaleido Intelligence reveals that cellular data usage in the transport and logistics sector is set to grow at a 23% CAGR from 2024 to 2030, generating over $65 billion in revenue for Connectivity Service Providers by 2030. Their report highlights that much of this growth will be driven by the adoption of infotainment and software-defined features in vehicles, though consumer uptake remains modest.

In contrast, cellular telematics—used for navigation, safety, and communication—is expected to see significantly higher adoption, with over 600 million vehicles using it by the end of the decade.

“Cellular connectivity will be only one modality for end-to-end cargo tracking”, remarked research author James Moar. “It will be most common in many places as an aggregator of other signals, and as a backbone for transport infrastructure, with private cellular networks proliferating in warehouses, ports and other industry hubs.”
