Developing economies lead on mobile games spend
The developing economies of China, Mexico, Brazil and India lead the world when it comes to the number of people paying to play games on mobile phones. While a majority of people surveyed by MEF in India and Brazil had paid for mobile games in the past six months, the figure rose to 65% in Mexico and almost 80% in China. At the other end of the scale, barely one third of people in Japan, UK and Spain had paid for mobile games. Full data, including the level of spend, is availabe in MEF’s 9th Annual Trust Study.
