Only 18% of people feel protected online
Over 80% of people don’t believe their online identity is suitable protected and, according to the latest survey data from MEF, the vast majority don’t take action because they either lack the knowledge about the availability of various tools and services, feel it it is too complicated, or were unaware they could do so. A further 25% say taking protective action would be too expensive, while 14% said it would not make any difference.
