Most people think regulation is needed to protect us from harmful and misleading content

Most people still believe that regulation is an important tool to protect us from harmful or misleading online content and practices. According to the latest global survey data from MEF, the regulation of misleading advertising was important to 67% of people, with 66% saying it is needed to prevent harmful online content, 64% to restrict age-appropriate content, 60% to check and regulate Artificial Intelligence apps, and 57% to reign-in Big Tech control of personal data.
