Black Friday

USA Way Off The Pace in Online-Shopping Race

Black Friday is upon us again, but consumers in the USA have a lot of ground to make up on counterparts from other nations regarding their online shopping habits. USA ranked just 12 of 15 countries surveyed by MEF in terms of having bought goods or services from an online store in the past six months! Top of the pile was Indonesia – where 66% of smartphone users had purchased something in the previous six months, followed by Spain (65%), Brazil (63%), and Canada (62%). The only countries to fall below the USA (53%) were Japan, Mexico and Egypt! Full results are now available to download in MEF’s 10th Annual Consumer Survey.
