Digital Wallets and Work-Related Apps Lead Growth in Mobile Usage
More of us are using our smartphones to navigate daily life with an average 6% growth in users across the top 5 mobile behaviours witnessed from 2022 to 2024. The highest growth was recorded for using mobile or digital wallets to pay for goods in a shop, cafe or bar, and using work-related apps or communications (both up 7 percentage points), followed by listening to podcasts (up 6pp) and using social media (up 5pp).
