India’s Trust Index stands at a creditable 63%, according to the latest data from MEF’s 10th Annual Consumer Trust Survey – well above the global average of 55%. The Trust index is calculated against awareness of how personal data that is shared may be used, whether users still feel in control of that personal data, and belief in safeguards to protect the data from fraudsters.
