Average Spend on Mobile Gaming Falls in 2024
Although more people are now paying for mobile games, according to the latest consumer survey data from MEF, the average monthly spend on mobile games fell to $9.00 in 2024, following a slight rise from $9.20 in 2022 to $9.21 last year. The drop in average spend was a result of gradual belt-tightening at the high end, with the number of gamers spending more than $20 per month down from 7% in 2022, to 6.6% in 2023, and 6.3% this year.
