Mobile Gamers Want to Crack The Puzzle

50% of smartphone users surveyed by MEF have played puzzle games (like Candy Crush) in the past 6 months – more than any other game type. However, mobile puzzling is being driven by females (played by 65% vs just 36% of males – who preferred Sports games [42%]). While Puzzles were the top choice in almost all markets surveyed by MEF, there were two exceptions! Strategy games ranked highest in Italy, while massive multiplayer games (like PUBG Mobile) came top in China.
