China leads the world in usage of augmented/ virtual reality

A total of 23% of smartphone users in China have accessed augmented or virtual reality services in the last 6 months compared to the global average of just 10%. Even in China, however, usage is heavily skewed towards females and the 25-34 year old demographic.
