Is Education the Passport to the future of the Mobile Ecosystem?
February 4, 2021 @ 16:00 - 17:00 GMT

A resilient telecommunications infrastructure offering great coverage is undoubtedly a key driver of economic development. The telecommunications sector has seen tremendous technological advances over the past few decades, with mobility and internet services growing in capability and reach across the globe. Over 4.5 billion people are internet users, of which over 3 billion are in developing countries. However, in spite of progress in access to mobile and internet services, many people and businesses remain disconnected. Globally, 3 billion citizens remain unconnected.
The late, great Nelson Mandela said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. At the other end of the spectrum are those of a potentially far less kind disposition who say “Those that can, do. Those that can’t teach”. But what is relevant to the wider mobile ecosystem? Where does education sit in the frame of things? Is it important or does the real importance actually lie in the doing, deploying a raft of physical infrastructure, making mobile devices accessible to more people around the world?
Our panel is made up of seasoned industry experts who will be sharing their own experiences built up across much of both the developed and developing world. Great insight is what MEF delivers so tune in to this live webinar to understand what role Education really plays across mobile – or should play. We’ll see what our jury says when they deliver their verdict on February 4th
