Portugal’s TIMWE has just won a five year deal to take over the management of VAS services for the Brazilian operator Algar.

It’s a first for an operator in Latam – and the two companies say they expect to increase content revenues by up to five times as a result. Osvaldo Cariijo, commercial director of Algar Retail, said: “In addition to improving the user experience, (we) should benefit from the claim reduction and reduced churn.”
