Telia’s network is Norway’s number one
Telia has emerged as the top mobile network operator in Norway, according to Rohde & Schwarz’s benchmarking analysis conducted in October 2024. The study evaluated 11,900 voice calls and over 183,000 data tests across an area exceeding 5,550 kilometers, covering more than 50% of Norway’s population. Using a transparent and user-centric Network Performance Scoring (NPS) methodology, the analysis assessed mobile services such as web browsing, social media, voice calls, data transfer, and video streaming.
Telia achieved an impressive NPS score of 829 out of 1,000, placing it not only as the leader in Norway but also among the top mobile operators globally. The evaluation’s comprehensive scope and inclusion of Norway’s challenging mountainous geography ensured an accurate representation of user experience, further solidifying Telia’s excellence in mobile network performance.

Transforma Insights has announced that its Regulatory Database, which provides comprehensive coverage of regulations related to AI, IoT, cybersecurity, and other technology areas, is now available for free to anyone registered under its Essential subscription service. This database aims to assist companies navigating the complex regulatory landscape surrounding digital transformation technologies like IoT and AI, addressing critical aspects such as security, privacy, data sovereignty, and procurement.
Initially launched in beta in August 2023 with coverage of 18 countries, the database has now expanded to include analysis of regulations in 45 countries. As of January 2025, it contains detailed information on 258 regulations, standards, policies, national strategies, and direct statements from telecommunications regulators. This initiative reflects Transforma Insights’ commitment to helping businesses stay informed about relevant regulatory developments as they pursue their digital transformation goals.
