It was a time to remember for attendees at MEF CONNECTS USA: Business Messaging & Mobile Evolution, Las Vegas 2024, where participants enjoyed a dynamic program on emerging trends in mobile communications and a glamorous evening soiree.

The October event featured speakers and presentations highlighting the transformative power of virtual conversations, API and edge computing NaaS innovations, and the exciting evolving landscape of RCS and business messaging. The one-day event preceded GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) Las Vegas and was capped off by the elegant MEF Meet-Up Las Vegas.

Speakers at MEF Connects covered a broad array of topics, including significant discussion around the telecom industry’s ongoing battle with communications fraud. In the panel, “Mastering Visibility for the Future of Mobile and Wrangling the Fraudsters,”  Steve Legge, CEO and President of netnumber, a global leader in Number Intelligence as a Service (NIaaS) solutions, led a discussion on innovations in fraud-fighting solutions. He was joined on the panel by Mark Harvey, CEO of Sekura.id, and Gautam Hazari, CTO of Sekura.id, a globally recognized digital identity service provider.

Among the panel’s topics, attendees heard about the recent development of a comprehensive registry of phone numbers known to be involved in fraud. The robust registry, developed by netnumber, can actively help fight fraud across a variety of use cases for enterprise brands, carriers, CPaaS providers, financial institutions and more.

MEF Meet-up Features Fun & Networking in Legendary Locale
