Globe Teleservices provide an overview of the recent MEF Leadership Forum in Mumbai India, where telecoms leaders gathered to discuss the burgeoning Indian market, and the future of the mobile ecosystem in the region and beyond. The whole show is available now to watch on demand.

This April, the Mobile Ecosystem Forum hosted the MEF Leadership Forum India 2024, supported by Globe Teleservices Pte. Ltd. (GTS), where members and industry peers convened to explore India’s potential as one of the largest and fastest-growing mobile markets. As the exclusive sponsor for MEF Leadership Forum India 2024, GTS has consistently supported the event for three consecutive years, enhancing its success and bolstering MEF’s presence in the Asia Pacific region.

This was a two-day event, from April 15th to April 16th, held respectively at Opa! Café & Bar and Taj Santacruz in Mumbai, India. Day 1 commenced with the MEF Meetup, a networking cocktail dinner, followed by Day 2, which featured power-packed panel sessions and a series of insightful discussions, all culminating towards the event’s overall success. It covered the latest developments and solutions in telecommunications, with panel sessions addressing topics such as Role of CPaaS in ensuring secure communication, Generative AI, RCS and conversational commerce, security in telecommunications, the future of digital finance, and innovations in A2P messaging.

It witnessed overwhelming participation from over 60 global organizations and more than 150 participants, including senior representatives from the likes of companies such as Google, Jio, Vodafone Idea, Orange, TATA Communications, BICs, Infobip, Almuqeet System, Tanla, Sinch, Comviva, TransUnion, Twilio, Route Mobile, NPCI, CITIC, GSMA, and many more.

Mr. Ashutosh Agrawal, Group CEO of Globe Teleservices Pte. Ltd. (GTS), commenced the event with an opening speech, addressing the audience and sharing his thoughts on the occasion, stating,

GTS affiliate companies, including GTS Techlabs, FinBraine, VSPAGY and UTS, also participated and showcased their solutions at a dedicated space in the event. GTS Techlabs showcased solutions aimed at fortifying networks against fraud and enhancing customer engagement through CPaaS+, TxtChain, and ArmourX.

Meanwhile, FinBriane, presented their E-KYC solution, IDBraine, along with their next-gen digital lending solution, CredBraine. Additionally, VSPAGY exhibited their innovative Personalized Video Interactivity solution, aimed at enhancing customer engagement in a dynamic manner.

Additionally, MEF’s CEO, Dario Betti, who moderated quite a few sessions for the event, shared his thoughts on the event. He stated, “India’s vast mobile market, with its population exceeding 1.3 billion, presents significant growth opportunities. It was fantastic to see leaders convene to discuss key challenges and developments in the telecom industry.
