MEF Director of Programmes James Williams looks ahead to the MEF Africa Meetup & Round-table, held during AfricaCom next week in Cape Town, where MEF Members will gather to network and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the digital infrastructure in some of the world’s most exciting markets.
Just one more week to go before the Africa Tech Festival 2022, Africa’s largest and most influential tech event, gets underway in Cape Town. Looking at all our members’ social media posts there is going to be a very strong showing at the in-person conference elements taking place November 8th to 10th inclusive.
Thousands of senior tech and telecom change makers will be coming together – and MEF is hosting two events of its own alongside, on the evenings of November 7th and 8th.
MEF’s November 7th networking opportunity, sponsored by Evina and WASPA, starting at 5pm on the rooftop of the Radisson RED Cape Town V&A Waterfront, is already oversubscribed but we still have a few spaces for November 8th which will be an even bigger event…
This time on the 28th floor of the prestigious FNB Portside building, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Convention Centre, our November 8th event offers great networking opportunities and we’ll also be hosting four impactful panel discussions with decisions makers active across Africa. Starting at 5pm again and all the information and the registration link can be found right here. Thanks to business messaging experts LANCK Telecom for sponsoring this event!
The panel discussions on November 8th will cover the following topics:
- The Future of Payments in Africa
- Business Messaging: Building Brands, Driving Loyalty and Increasing Conversion
- Africa’s Booming Startup Scene
- Consumer Protection 360
Do not delay and secure your places at this physical event for MEF members right now!
The MEF team looks forward to seeing you in Cape Town very soon.
