If you are running a mobile service in Mexico and you have the support of Telcel, you are half way there. The MNO dominates the Mexican market, with nearly 70 per cent of all subscriptions.

Here’s the good news for rich messaging proponents: Telcel supports RCS.

Angel Cisneros, CEO of Mexican aggregator Quiubas Mobile, is one of those proponents. His company is one of a small number working with brands (and Google) to discover the best way to position RCS services to one of the world’s fastest growing mobile-first subscriber bases.
