iconectiv Makes Key Contribution to Latest Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) Specifications

conectiv announced that it has made key contribution to the latest Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP) specifications by LF Networking.

The specifications have been published by to help combine and drive industry progress toward delivering new services quickly and cost-efficiently using network functions virtualization (NFV) over software-defined mobile networks within an open source framework.

iconectiv joined the ONAP initiative last year to help partner in solving the challenges of smoothly onboarding the VNFs that are crucial to the way 5G and other advanced software-defined networks will be managed and commissioned.

Modix to partner with LivePerson for live chat services

Modix, the digital marketing arm of Cox Automotive, has entered into a partnership with LivePerson Automotive for live chat and text services to dealers.

Modix will offer the LivePerson Automotive platform to car dealerships under the product name Modix Live Chat +. The product enables live chat conversations between dealers and the customers browsing their stock, both through manufacturer used vehicle locators (UVLs) and directly on the dealers’ websites.

“We’re excited to bring two great companies together to better serve our dealer and OEM partners, and the consumers they serve, by providing conversational commerce services,” said Thom Coupar-Evans, sales director for LivePerson Automotive UK.
