Brazil’s economic growth is well documented.  It’s also a mobile first country with 50 per cent of all households using mobile as their primary means for communicating and getting online.

Today feature phones are more popular but by 2018, one third of the country is predicted to own a smartphone.  In a country who’s population is 209 million that’s a large domestic market.  And its not just providers of apps and services that stand to benefit as more apps both requires and initiates more mobile advertising which is predicted to top 730 million next year.

This infographic from Tune explores the stats behind the growth of mobile advertising in the region.
